As a member of the industrial marketplace, we at PacMech recognize the struggles and challenges faced by all of us as the COVID-19 (2019 novel coronavirus) epidemic unfolds. The health and well-being of our employees and customers is a vital concern. We are closely monitoring all developments related to the COVID-19 virus and following the most current relevant guidance from government and health authorities to ensure we are taking the right actions to protect our customers, employees and the various communities in which we operate.
At the same time, PacMech supplies goods and services to diverse industries that are necessary to maintain a safe, functioning society. This includes work on water, sewer and solid waste processing, power generation, oil and gas refining, highways, and construction projects for essential infrastructure.
We plan to continue with normal business hours (7:30 am – 4:30 pm PST) until further notice.
Provisions are in place allowing our staff to follow recommended social distancing practices and sanitary measures. We encourage the use of email communication for requesting quotes and order placement, allowing us to prioritize and respond to your requests in the timeliest manner possible. We will do our best to ensure that PacMech will be available to assist by phone during regular hours and that our 24 hour service remains accessible.
Our valued supply chain partners have assessed their raw material supplies and inventory levels and assured us that they are continuing to provide what we need. Many have taken steps to temporarily increase the on-hand supply of key raw materials. At this time, we do not anticipate any significant short-term disruption in material availability. Furthermore, we expect for PacMech to be available for quick-response fabrication to those in need of our services.
PacMech will continue to closely monitor the situation at all levels as it develops. Updates will be provided in the event of any change to normal operations or in any of the specific categories outlined above. Be assured that we are doing our best to operate in light of the latest developments with the health and safety of our employees and customers as our focus.
